Serious Gaming as a Support Tool for Statistical Courses

The purpose of this communication is to show the interest of serious games as learning tool, a tool to enable learners to improve their competencies in advanced and multidimensional statistical analyses.

We will see that serious games create positive adaptive and individual conditions to learning: challenge, feedback, active participation, interaction for example. They motivate the learner, structure and consolidate knowledge, promote problem solving and develop transversal competencies.
