Teaching advanced analytics in business: the example of structural equation modeling

Advanced analytics and statistics are becoming mainstream for business applications and are of central interest for business students.By using the right tool and the right learning path, students can adopt these techniques easily.
Using the structural equation models based example, I will explain how advanced statistics methods can be easily introduced to students. The Partial Least Square-SEM interface in the XLSTAT-Marketing statistical software helps the student understand intuitively how a SEM is built and give direct access to practical applications such as customer satisfaction analysis.
