Dr. Rickard Enstroem, a native of Sweden, holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Alberta’s School of Business, M.Sc. (Eng.) in Civil Engineering and B.Sc. in Built Environment from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden. He is a Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) of the Canadian Institute of Management. As Chair of the Department of Decision Sciences, he oversees the Supply Chain Management COOP Major in the Bachelor of Commerce program. Apart from an interest in the Built Environment, as manifested by a Visiting Research Fellowship at Uppsala University’s Institute for Housing and Urban Research, his research interests revolve around Judgment and Decision Making and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. He has served on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations and is the current Secretary of The Canadian Initiative for Nordic Studies. He has teaching, research, and consulting experience from North America and Europe. His research has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Real Estate Finance & Economics, Journal of Real Estate Literature, and Frontiers in Psychology. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, music, and cross-country skiing.
